This 90 minute workshop is for anyone who is looking to improve their balance.
Balance is essential for maintaing stability and mobility throughout life, especailly as we age. It helps improve movement, athleticism, and your proprioception. This workshop is designed for both yogis and dancers alike who are looking to improve their connection with the ground whether that is to promote relaxation or improve spin technique.
No mat required. Come as you are.

While registration is encouraged, walk-ins always welcome, space permitted. We accept credit card, Venmo/zelle, and cash.

salsa drills workshop

This 90 minute workshop is for all dancers, no salsa experience required.
This workshop focuses on teaching you how to drill your body and mind to help improve your dance technique, especially when it comes to salsa. The workshop will teach you 4 drills you can do on your own to improve your balance, spins, body movement, and arm movement. We will learn a salsa on2 48 count shine that ties into the drills to exemplify why you need to drill.
All levels welcome. Come as you are.

Driving

The closest parking garage is at Millennium Garages Grant Park North, in the green zone. It is strongly encouraged to book your parking in advance on Spothero, Millennium Garages, or other apps to get the best price possible.

Building

Photo ID Is needed to get into the building. Take the express elevators up to the 36th floor. Facing Shana Numismatics, the stairwell will be on your right behind a wooden door. Proceed up to the 38th floor.

About

As a lifelong dancer, some of my experience includes 15+ years of ballet and jazz, 20 years of social dancing, yoga teaching certification, Zumba instruction license, Applied Stretching Theory and Practice certificate, 3 years of burlesque, 1 year of belly dancing, 5+ years of powerlifting, and 2 years of distance running.
